AMITABHA CHATTERJEE was educated at IIT Delhi to be an electrical engineer, but opted to be an oilman. He joined an oil company, where he has worked for the last sixteen years, in countries round the globe – Venezuela, Egypt, Qatar, and a few others he would rather keep secret. He has lived in little-known places, and survived on dubious foods. He is currently based in New Delhi.
